Dutch toy supplier Spectron the Toy Company adopts Icecat’s Toy Data Model

Dutch toy supplier Spectron adopts the Icecat Toy Data Model. Spectron represents various toy brands such as SILVERLIT, TOMY, LAMAZE, EXOST, IMC TOYS, MAKE IT REAL, GEAR2PLAY, and XQ TOYS.

The Toy Data Model, initiated by Icecat, bol.com, and FUN, developed within four years into a worldwide standard. The use of this model sharply increases: new retailers connect and more toy brands are monitored in the Icecat Toy Brands Monitor. The recent acquisition of the French toy and entertainment company Cedemo by Icecat further reinforces this.

“Spectron experiences healthy growth, with professionalization and automation being an important part. Providing and keeping our product information up-to-date with our partners is important dor us. The Icecat solution and its extensive retailer network ensure efficiency. But, also improves our online visibility with our partners. Therefore we publish our branded data in Icecat”, says John Boeyen, Managing Director of Spectron The Toy Company.
