Grolls, Reebok and Adidas Winners in Icecat Fashion Monitor 2019

Grolls (work clothing), and sports fashion manufacturers Reebok, and Adidas are the top three brands in the Icecat Fashion Monitor based on 103 million online Product Data-Sheet (PDS) requests through searches or otherwise over 2019. The total number of Fashion brands monitored is 2,302.

Top 3 covers 31% of visibility

There is a huge brand diversity in Fashion. Nevertheless, the top 25 of brands cover 66% of total brand visibility in this hot e-commerce vertical, and the highest brand share is a mere 14%: Grolls which has a broad catalogue of safety and other work clothing including over 42,000 items. Reebok has a similar sized catalog as Grolls, and for Adidas around 25K products are described. The top 3 brands jointly cover 31% of brand visibility in the Fashion vertical.

E-commerce Ready Vertical

In general, Fashion is completely e-commerce ready. Especially, the branded products are quick to sell online, both by generalists like Amazon and by specialists like Zalando.com. Work and safety clothing, business-to-business items, are even more e-commerce prone that fashion in general.
