Q3 2022: Continued Growth of Traffic to Icecat Catalog, Blog, and Corporate Website

During Q3 2022, Icecat’s catalog usage expanded by 33%. Please, find below an overview of the statistics and continuous growth of Icecat.

Icecat catalog usage expanded by 33%

In Q3-2022, the number of product datasheet (pds) downloads expanded by 33% to 4.5 billion year-on-year. Further, the page views for the Icecat catalog website have seen a Y-o-Y rise of 25%. More importantly, the growth in unique page views of icecat.biz compared to Q3-21 last year was 38%. Further, the bounce rate is 18% lower, which indicates that more visitors found what they want. To further continue the growth, new SEO improvements will be implemented.

Iceclog: 144% more traffic

The exponential usage growth in 2021 continued in Q3 2022 with a 144% growth in visitors. The number of unique visitors increased by 52% Y-o-Y, meaning we attract new unique visitors correlated with the overall traffic growth. The most popular content among visitors consists of Icecat manuals. Thanks to our daily content, we expect the traffic on our blog to continue to grow during the last quarter of 2022.

Registrations growth

We noticed a slight Y-o-Y increase of 1% in Open Icecat registrations. However, compared to the previous quarter, there was an increase of 5%.

After launching a new logo and refreshed website last year, we grew by 9% in page views. We will continue building more pages, adding content, and optimizing SEO to continue the steady growth.
