Media Markt’s content requirements

In order to further boost customers’ online experience, Media Markt is considerably improving its product content. The availability and quality of product information – such as images, descriptions, specifications, marketing texts, alternatives and product options, rich media, etc. – allows customers to compare products and make a better purchasing choice.

Both the catalog of the new Digital Store of Media Markt in Barcelona and the online store are fed by Icecat data.

What are Media Markt’s minimum requirements for a product data-sheet? Media Markt requires:

• Product name
• Short description
• Long description
• High Res images (min 2000×2000 pix, but the bigger the better, for wider screens in the digital store)
• Main image plus 2 secondary images
• EU Efficiency or Energy Label in all products where mandatory
