The demand for product content skyrocketed in 2023 and shows no signs of slowing down in 2024. The Toy Vertical, in particular, saw an impressive 55% surge in datasheet requests, proving that retailers, distributors, and consumers are more reliant than ever on accurate, detailed, and easily accessible product information. As competition intensifies, brands that prioritize high-quality content are set to dominate the market.

LEGO remains the most in-demand toy brand, achieving remarkable growth over the past year. In 2023, LEGO recorded 55.6 million datasheet downloads. By 2024, this number had more than doubled to 115.9 million, reflecting an impressive 108% year-over-year increase.

Other top toy brands also experienced substantial growth. Mattel saw its datasheet requests more than double, jumping from 35.4 million in 2023 to 76.3 million in 2024—a 115% increase. Meanwhile, Hasbro experienced strong growth as well, with downloads rising from 24.3 million in 2023 to 37.2 million in 2024, marking a 53% increase.

These figures underscore the increasing reliance on high-quality product content in the toy vertical in the Icecat catalog. Retailers, distributors, and consumers are demanding more detailed product information to support purchasing decisions.

Enhanced Brand Performance Insights

The Brand Rank page offers additional key performance indicators (KPIs) that help brands analyze their market presence. One such KPI is brand analytics by country, allowing companies to track their visibility at a local level. However, due to the international nature of e-commerce and anonymous browsing, not all views or downloads can be attributed to specific regions.
