Toy Brand Lumo Stars offers Free Generic Product Stories for its Retailers

Lumo stars, a brand of the Finnish game company Tactic, is based on a children’s book called Northern Brights. For over fifty years, the Finnish board game company Tactic has been known for its innovative, exciting, and high-quality games that delight millions of families worldwide. Nowadays, the Lumo Stars plush toy collection includes common animals living in the Nordic countries and their friends worldwide. Each plush has its name and personality description. Furthermore, to improve the online customer journey, Lumo Stars created free enhanced content, generic product stories, for all its channel partners.

What is a generic Product Story?

Generic Product Stories contain the same content for each product of the brand. To clarify, a brand only has to create one Product Story containing various content elements for all of its products to easily explain concepts. For example due to limited capacities such as limited shelf space or limited online options. In the case of Lumo Stars, a generic Product Story explains its concept easily for its audience. In short, online shoppers can buy and collect Lumo Stars plush toys and download the app to take care and play with their toys.

A Product Story can include a selection of digital multimedia assets. For example, video, feature logos and explanations, 3D objects, and an image gallery. It will follow a brand’s look and feel and present the content consistently across the whole channel. Furthermore, enhanced content is key to improving the online shopping experience and sales conversion. It will give online shoppers the feeling that they are holding the actual product in their hands.

All the Lumo Stars Product Stories are available for all retailers in the Icecat catalog. Retailers can implement the content for free. There is a step-by-step manual available on how to implement Product Stories. With just a few lines of javascript code, a product story can be live on a webshop.
