Manual for Amazon Listing API

The Amazon APIs (Listings Items API and A+ API) provide programmatic access to selling partner listings and enhanced content on Amazon.

Use Amazon Listing API in collaboration with the Selling Partner API for Product Type Definitions. This you can use to retrieve the information about Amazon product types needed to use the Listings Items API.

Icecat SP API (Listings API) connection allows pushing the product content stored in Icecat catalog. This includes product images, technical specifications, marketing text, bullet points, and SEO keywords to a customer inventory catalog in both Amazon Vendor / Seller Central.

Icecat A+ API allows pushing the A+ Content created in Icecat Studio to Amazon VC and product detail pages.

To give permission to Icecat to act as a CSP (Content Service Provider) and perform data submissions to Amazon on behalf of a client, please strictly follow the website authorization flow below. We describe this step-by-step below.

Authorization Flow

Enter https://icecat.biz/ and log in using your Icecat account credentials. Press the menu icon on the upper right corner of the homepage and select “My profile”:

Step 2)
Once entered “My profile” scroll down to see “ADD AUTHORIZATION“ button placed at the bottom of the “Access details” section:

Step 3)
For Amazon Listings API:

In order to proceed with the authorization for Icecat Listings API, please select Amazon Listing API and a corresponding country in the dropdown menu after pressing the “ADD AUTHORIZATION” button.

After pressing “OK” you will be redirected to the country/region-specific Amazon Vendor Central login page.

For Amazon A+ API:

In order to proceed with the authorization for Icecat Studio A+, please select Amazon A+ API and a corresponding country in the dropdown menu after pressing the “ADD AUTHORIZATION” button.

After pressing “OK” you will be redirected to the country/region-specific Amazon Vendor Central login page.

Step 4)
Enter the correct credentials commonly used for a login to the Amazon Seller/Vendor account, to allow it to receive the data pushed via the Icecat automated process and press Sign-In.

Consequently, this permits Icecat to perform data submissions for the Vendor Codes/Seller ID associated with this account.

Step 5) After a successful login, the following Amazon consent page appears:

Check the box marked with an arrow on the picture above and press “Confirm”. A client’s unique Amazon access token will be automatically generated. Next, this is sent to Icecat for further implementation into our Amazon API applications.
