Canon Australia adopts Where-to-Buy solutions

Hatch announces a collaboration with Canon Australia, the well-known camera and home printer brand, which adopts its Where-to-Buy solutions. These solutions help Canon Australia to connect its consumers with local retailers easily and to enable Canon website visitors to purchase the brand’s consumer digital imaging products such as cameras, home and small business printers, and accessories.

How does Where-To-Buy work? By integrating Hatch’s e-commerce referral solution to its website, Canon Australia has streamlined its digital path to purchase for consumers. This digital path links website visitors on a Canon product page directly to the local retailers’ online stores that have stock available for purchase. As part of the solution, Hatch enables the customer to easily view and compare the dealers’ street pricing before clicking through.

Canon Australia commits to work with local retailers to bring Australian consumers the best value product offers, promotions, services, and experiences possible,” says Ms. Spannari. “In one month, Hatch helped us double our retail referral traffic from our brand site to retail partner sites. This reveals that consumers and retailers are benefiting from our strengthened arrangement.

Rise of e-commerce in Australia

According to a recent CBRE report, online sales in Australia are expected to be worth $43.1 billion by 2022. In physical stores, 34% of customers make purchasing decisions influenced by online research. This demonstrates the growing market for omnichannel retail solutions. Despite this, just 19% of the top 250 retailers in Australia are successfully harnessing omnichannel demand. Additionally, Global Data research expects that e-commerce in Australia will grow by 10% annually between 2020 and 2023. Online sales in Australia are eventually expected to reach $77.1 billion by 2024.

In conclusion, this growth highlights how crucial it is for brands to adapt to the ever-evolving retail landscape by developing effective omnichannel strategies.

This latest partnership accelerates sales for local retailers who stock Canon products. Given that ‘Where-to-Buy’ enables consumers to check retailers’ online store stock availability and local store proximity through an innovative widget. In addition, we enable an enhanced customer experience by strengthening brand-retailer relationships.
