VSI, the Dutch association (NL: “Vereniging”) of audio-visual System Integrators, advises its members to use Icecat for sharing product content. Also, quotations through its ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems, which it’s using as its e-commerce foundation. The 16 VSI members – such as BPR Visie, Kinly and AVEX – jointly command a market share of 80% in the Dutch AV integrated systems market.
VSI’s opinion it’s that “great product content helps to improve the visibility of its members’ webshops in Google Search”. VSI is processing digital assets from Icecat. Digital assets such as specifications, descriptions, product photos, product videos, and manuals, and from the Iceimport service price and stock.
The main arguments for VSI to choose for Icecat are: “timely and accurate product information to help webshop visitors better decide what to buy, and shortening the time to market for new products. The Icecat commerce solutions are very cost-effective for us and our partners.”
