As our team is spread across multiple countries, including the Netherlands, Turkiye, Ukraine, and Tunisia, we recently reunited in Istanbul for an Icecat Commerce team meeting. At this meeting, we brought together most of our development team to discuss and analyze the results of the past year, plan our future endeavors, meet new colleagues, and enjoy the opportunity to collaborate in person. Stay tuned for our posts to know what we have planned for the future! Meanwhile, this is what our team members are saying about this experience:
“I met most of the people from Turkiye offline for the first time. I find our team to be hard-working, professional, knowledgeable, responsible, friendly and helpful, so I’m very glad to be working with such a good team. It was nice to work together during the day and explore the beauty and culture of Istanbul after work. Such reunification helps the team understand each other better, which certainly has a positive impact on our collaboration. I am delighted to work with my team. I find myself very lucky to collaborate and learn from them every day.”
“Despite the increase in remote work experiences due to the pandemic, the power of such offline events cannot be denied. We value the future of our company and continue to make every effort as a team. And because of that we have developed a strategy to increase our new customers and to have our existing customers look forward to the future with hope and excitement alongside us. We know that the more wonderful experiences they have, the happier we are. After meetings and work, we invited our friends from abroad to see the unique beauties of Istanbul. We toured the city from end to end, providing them with information about its history and present. Of course, we also ensured they tasted our Adana kebab and baklava. It was a three-day event that felt like a celebration, and it was an unforgettable experience, accompanied by delicious meals. Coming together with such a productive and enjoyable event is extremely important for both our work and social relations.”
