Philips SpeedPro Max – Cleaning is Fun!

I had a cleaner coming to my home for several years, but at one point I thought that I better could do regular cleaning by myself instead. However, I wanted to have better, especially more fun, devices and stop using my 15 year old Siemens vacuum cleaner with a cord.

So, I bought the Philips SpeedPro Max thanks to the recommendation of a friend. And, I have to say that she – or better said – the vacuum cleaner did not disappoint me at all!

Cleaning is way more fun with this funky device. When I used it for the first time, I had some childhood memories popping up, and I felt like one of the characters in ghostbusters hunting for ghosts, or in my case: dirt. So, I really enjoyed my first cleaning experience with this cordless vacuum cleaner.

The Philips SpeedPro Max works with a battery which can be charged via a magnetic charging connection. The battery life depends on the suction level that you choose. It lasts around 20 minutes in turbo mode, without losing any of the suction power. However, you can easily clean for around one hour if you use the regular mode.

Because of the relatively flat brush head, and the good mobility of this device, you can easily clean under sofas, beds and furniture, and it can be even converted into a handheld vacuum cleaner. It is also very useful in staircases, as you do not have to fight with a cord anymore. The emptying of the container is very simple, the dirt container can be completely decoupled from the vacuum cleaner and you can easily wipe off all the hairs from the main brush in one go.

The coolest thing for me, besides that it is cordless, is the LED lighting at the 360° suction nozzle of the machine. I really love it. It looks funky and you can vacuum clean all the dust away that you did not spot before in dark corners. 

The main con is the short battery life when you vacuumize at maximum power.  

Cleaning with this vacuum cleaner is just fun. So, if you are looking for a powerful and uncomplicated cordless vacuum cleaner, the Philips SpeedPro Max is a great choice.
