MediaMarkt Spain Partners with Icecat for Rich Product Content

MediaMarkt Spain utilizes the Icecat catalog to collect and display up-to-date product content in its omnichannel operations including its webshop, its digital store in Barcelona and its other content-driven activities (flyers, newsletters etc).
Gemma Gerbolés Iglesias, Business developer at MediaMarkt Spain, says:

To meet MediaMarkt Spain’s requirements, manufacturers are requested to provide product data through Icecat with the following attributes and files:
- Product name
- Short description
- Long description
- High Res images (min 2000×2000 pix, but the bigger the better, for wider screens in the digital store)
- Main image plus 2 secondary images
- EU Efficiency or Energy Label in all products where mandatory
MediaMarkt currently integrates all product content assets provided via Icecat and is working into integrating Rich Content as well, i.e. videos, 3D tour, Reasons To Buy.
