Until today only books were sold on Amazon.nl, but from today over 100 million products divided over 30 categories are available on its Dutch store. Icecat’s subsidiary Syndy has partnered with Amazon to help its brand suppliers upload its product content directly into to its new Dutch Amazon webshop.
Syndy auto-populates the NIS (New Item Setup) templates, which are Amazon-specific product content upload templates, that allow suppliers to help to activate its products and ingest basic product content into Amazon.nl. Suppliers can upload, enrich and create the right product content for Amazon.nl by using the online platform of Syndy. Syndy’s direct integrations with third-party data pools, like Icecat and Brandbank, allows suppliers to easily import their existing product content via Syndy’s online platform.
Syndy has already partnered with a selection of global brands to help list their products on Amazon.nl to be ready for the launch. The platform is now ready to accommodate massive product content uploads including images. Uploading your content to Amazon Vendor Central usually takes a few days depending on the content. Syndy is actively working with new brand suppliers to upload also their content to Amazon.nl. In addition, Icecat’s Amazon partnerships in other markets allows for international roll-out opportunities for suppliers.
“We are excited about Amazon’s launch into the Dutch eCommerce landscape and we look forward to collaborating on many more future projects”, says Marcel Blaas, international sales manager at Icecat.
