We’ve also improved existing connectors and introduced new features to further streamline your experience. Explore the full details below!
We’ve embarked on an project to integrate key features from the former Syndy platform into Icecat PIM, aiming to make our PIM as powerful for brands as it already is for retailers. One of the highlights of this project is the development of a new Template Export section, seamlessly integrated with the Syndy Template Engine. This functionality will enable users to export product content through fully customizable templates—those used by retailers—directly from the PIM, eliminating the need for manual file handling. Future releases of Icecat PIM will introduce a Template Engine interface within Icecat PIM.
Over 10 new videos have been added to the Help/Video Tutorials section in your PIM. Discover valuable insights on product relations, channels, reports, and more.
In Icecat PIM, we manage product conditions such as Default, Refurbished, Open Box, New, etc. Previously, the warehouse selector only functioned when a product was in a single condition. Now, it can handle products available in multiple conditions seamlessly.
For example, consider product XYZ. In the “New” condition, it is available in two warehouses: A and B. The same product is also listed in the “Refurbished” condition, with stock in three warehouses: C, D, and E. The warehouse selector will automatically choose the warehouse offering the lowest price with available stock for each condition. In this case, it might select Warehouse A for the “New” condition and Warehouse C for the “Refurbished” condition.
As a result, the product will be exported to your environment, such as WooCommerce, with the selected conditions and corresponding warehouses. This improved functionality ensures more efficient condition, stock management and accurate product listings.
We’ve introduced a distinction between product content languages and PIM interface languages. Now, when adding a new language to the PIM system, you can specify:
This enhancement provides greater flexibility in language configuration and management.
In Amazon export settings, there was an option labeled: “send images = yes/no.” We updated this setting to include:
This enhancement provides improved control over global and localized images and attributes pushed to Amazon.
Introduced a new feature, “Force this version to CWR clients,” ensuring customers always have access to the latest version of CWR. Selecting this will prompt a confirmation, as it is a critical action. Once confirmed, all CWR client will automatically receive the enforced version. A notification will appear in the “Logs” section of client instances.
Users can now easily update attributes, feature values, and other Amazon attribute settings using the “Update Schema” button.
All PIM users will be updated with a new version by August 22, 2025. Not using our free PIM yet? Start your journey with Icecat PIM today!
