Icecat PIM 3.17.0 is here and a more exciting 3.18.0 is on its way! This Icecat PIM release adds a summary card to the Product Edit workspace, brings PIM AI (formerly AI Assistant) to the header search bar and connects it to connector documentation, and speeds up the Import Wizard usage.
The Product Edit workspace now shows a summary card up top. Key details like status, price, and stock stay visible, so you don’t need to switch tabs to check them. Additionally, you can see the amount of channels this product is pushed to as well as any potential content locks being applied. It also lets you keep an eye on any product changes made via product history.
You can now ask PIM AI a question straight from the header search bar, instead of opening the chat widget separately. Connector documentation also now lives inside Icecat PIM itself and feeds the AI Chatbot, so answers about connectors stay grounded in the current docs.
If you’re running an import with an internal file, Quick Run skips the full wizard and takes you straight to the results.
This Icecat PIM release keeps the platform practical as teams and catalogs grow. The Product Edit Summary Card and Quick Run import cut down on repetitive clicks, and the pricing and task-automation fixes keep day-to-day work running smoothly.
