The final days of the year are a perfect time to reflect on the past 12 months. Therefore, it is time to reflect on our successes in Icecat 2021 Rewind.
This year was the second one heavily impacted by COVID-19, meaning that the various anti-pandemic measures truly became the new normal. In spite of that, we were able to continue and even expand our business operations. In the summer we even got to meet our colleagues based in different countries after more than 1,5 years.
This year, we refreshed the Icecat branding with an updated logo and a brand new website full of informative content about our services . We also launched a new website for Syndy, one of the companies within the Icecat family.
In July we announced the acquisition of the video syndication business of Autheos. On the other hand, just before Christmas, the sale of Icecat’s share in the where-to-buy solution Hatch was finalized.
The product-related milestones included celebrating a two year anniversary of the Free Brand Cloud and further development of our Product Stories.
All of the Icecat successes are only possible thanks to the hard work of our employees, as well as support and involvement of our dear partners and customers. Therefore, we would like to thank you and wish you all the best for the upcoming year. We are looking forward to working with you in 2022.
