Gigabyte adds Where To Buy to its UK website
Gigabyte, the Taiwanese PC components, and notebook brand add Where-To-Buy (WTB) to its UK website. All this in cooperation with Hatch and Icecat. As a result, by WTB the visitors of a Gigabyte product page are guided to selected retailers when choosing the products they search for. Therefore, WTB expects to have a serious business impact. Gigabyte’s website is high traffic with about 7.8 million visitors in the last six months. They are ranking #15 in the Computer and Electronics category.
Product pages show the availability of the product in the webshops of selected etailers to help visitors make a quick buying decision. Which will lead to a higher conversion rate. The WTB system of Hatch also traces the click-through and sales out, so that Gigabyte can use such information to optimize its marketing campaigns and rationalize its advertising investments.
Gigabyte will roll out WTB globally. The impact should be significant, given the volume and size of this hardware manufacturer. Gigabyte shipped more than 10 million motherboards last year, ranking 2nd in this category. Further, Gigabyte also produces VGA graphic cards, notebooks and servers. Its revenues totaled 1.7 Billion USD (~1.5 Billion EUR) in 2015.
