EPOS Audio Product Content for Authorized Resellers

EPOS, part of the Danish Demant Group, a world-leading audio, and hearing technology provider, offers solutions and services to help people connect and communicate with the world around them. The Demant Group operates in 30 countries, employs 16 thousand people, and generates annual revenues of around €2 billion. Its EPOS product content is now available in the Icecat catalog for authorized channel partners, to download for free.

Free EPOS product content

Free EPOS product content is available to any of EPOS’s channel partners. They need to be registered at Icecat, and request via their profile authorization by ETHOS. In the case of EPOS, the available product content includes marketing texts, specifications, and videos. The supported languages are English, French, German, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish, and Belgian locales. Channel partners can easily download any relevant product content to provide their online visitors with an excellent buying experience. For legal protection, EPOS has licensed Icecat to syndicate its copyrighted materials to its channel partners. Furthermore, with the Digital Rights Management, EPOS is still in control of the product content and decides who gets what and differentiates digital assets per channel partner.

With Open Icecat, partners not only get access to EPOS product content, but also to the content of other brands. Furthermore, they can fully automate the ingestion of product specifications and other digital assets into their e-commerce platforms. Additionally, EPOS takes care that the latest product information is available. The content is available in various formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, and also via add-ons to mainstream e-commerce platforms.

Benefits of syndicating product content

What are the reasons for EPOS to join Open Icecat and become a sponsor? First of all, reach is of course very important for every brand. Efficient connections to a vast number of resellers and all big marketplaces are already available in Icecat, which processed 10 billion product data-sheet downloads in 2020. And, EPOS can increase its online visibility and sales further by cross- and up-selling its products along with popular main products.

Secondly, Icecat editors can fully unburden the brand’s product managers by creating standardized product datasheets on behalf of EPOS in around 60 popular languages and locales worldwide. This saves a lot of cost and time. Furthermore, only brand-approved product content is published in free Open Icecat. So, the brand is still in control of the messaging.

Finally, a complete suite of seamless and cost-effective add-on services is available. Ranging from Shoppable Reviews, a dedicated PIM, Feed Management, Digital Rights Management (DRM), to Where-to-Buy solutions. In the case of EPOS, DRM is applicable, and this gives EPOS control over which reseller has access to its content and which not.

How to be authorized for the EPOS data?

If you are an EPOS channel partner, please use your Icecat account request authorization by EPOS via your Icecat profile page. Next, you can download its free product content as you do with other brands. If you don’t have an account yet, please register online first, contact your local Account Manager, or contact us online. After login, please take care to request authorization as mentioned above.
