De Telegraaf reported today on the OTC deal of Today’s in which 237,714 depositary receipts of Icecat shares (DRs) changed hands via NPEX. Around 2.2% of the total number of Icecat shares or DRs. This sets a trade record for the DRs on SME exchange NPEX.
Today’s Group B.V. is the first broker that has affiliated itself with the Dutch NPEX exchange at which Icecat is listed. It successfully placed the block of DRs to Dutch family offices and other private investors. This is the first transaction for Today’s on the NPEX platform.
The increasing liquidity on NPEX is a nice development. Currently, we see daily trading, following the switch to a more professional trading system with an order book last year. In particular, I congratulate Snijders Invest B.V., Today’s, NPEX and the 12 new investors on this recent deal.Martijn Hoogeveen, CEO of Icecat N.V.

Disclaimer: Icecat nor its management participated in this transaction. Nor were they involved in the pricing. Icecat’s role was limited to providing a waiver to a partial lockup condition on the DRs that Snijders Invest B.V. was holding.
In the graph above, you can see the price forming since the listing of Icecat in 2017. At the moment of writing the market price of Icecat DRs is €10.00.
