CTOUCH invites its e-commerce partners to collect its standardized content from Open Icecat, free of charge. Here, retailers can download CTOUCH’s digital assets, including product specifications, marketing texts, product images, brochures, logos, and rich media assets. For this reason, CTOUCH has licensed Icecat to syndicate its copyrighted materials through Open Icecat to its channel partners.
With Open Icecat, resellers get access to CTOUCH data. Next, they can automate the ingestion of product specifications and other digital assets into their own e-commerce platforms, where they offer CTOUCH solutions to end-users. Furthermore, timely CTOUCH product content is always available, ensuring resellers are up to date and won’t display obsolete content. For example, the product data-sheets of the latest CTOUCH Canvas and Riva touchscreens are now available upon registration. Technically, resellers can access the CTOUCH product content in XML, JSON, and other standard exchange formats.
