It is FUN for Toy Suppliers to enter Product Data in Free Brand Cloud

FUN, the Belgium toy retailer that opened shop in 1925, joins Icecat’s Free Brand Cloud program. FUN is, with BOL and Icecat, initiator of the Toy Data Model of 2016. The Toy Data Model today represents a global standard, embraced by brands like LEGO, Spin Master, and Bestway.

The Belgium toy market is with a revenue of 680 million euro in the top 60 biggest toy markets. The most sold product categories are video game consoles, plastic toys and construction sets & models, on which Fun is keeping their focus on. Furthermore, FUN is making the next step by asking its suppliers to register for Icecat’s Free Brand Cloud to enrich their product data themselves for FUN, or to join Open Icecat, for unlimited syndication of all their product information to any of their channel partners.

Some great benefits for vendors of FUN:

  • Upon registration, product content, like product titles, descriptions, specs, images, and product videos, can immediately be entered into Icecat by a brand representative.
  • Once when an information update happens, Icecat gets a real-time notification and can push the data live immediately.
  • Product information goes straight into the Icecat database. The standardized content is automatically ingested by the channel partner.
  • Icecat is FREE to use.
  • Lastly, additional service levels can be agreed upon.

However, for more information please contact Icecat online or register for Free Brand Cloud. See also “How to Register Online for Free Brand Cloud”.
