Planned Infrastructure Maintenance in February 2026

We would like to inform our users about two planned infrastructure maintenance activities scheduled for February 13 and February 16, 2026. These improvements are part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the Icecat platform.

What is planned?

February 13, 2026 – Storage Capacity Expansion

On this date, we will expand our storage capacity to support future growth and maintain reliable performance as platform usage increases.

Expected impact:

  • Icecat services will remain available.
  • Temporary performance degradation (such as slower responses) may occur during the maintenance window.
  • No major disruptions or extended downtime are expected.

February 16, 2026 – CEPH Cluster Upgrade

We will upgrade our CEPH storage cluster to a newer version, similar to an upgrade we have successfully performed before.

Expected impact:

  • Icecat services will remain available.
  • No impact on user functionality is expected.

Why this maintenance matters

Regular, planned maintenance allows us to improve our infrastructure in a controlled way, reducing the risk of unexpected issues in the future. The storage expansion ensures sufficient capacity for continued growth, while the CEPH upgrade helps keep the platform stable, secure, and up to date.

How we manage the process

Both activities will be performed gradually and closely monitored by our DevOps team. This approach allows us to keep the platform operational throughout the process and minimize any potential impact on users.

If you notice any unexpected behavior during these periods or have questions, please Contact Icecat.

Thank you for your understanding and for trusting Icecat as your product data platform.
