As part of Icecat’s ongoing strategy to simplify content delivery across key ecommerce platforms, our team has now released full support for Mirakl integrations. The new connector allows Icecat to push enriched product data directly into Mirakl-powered marketplaces, based on live customer catalogs and controlled enrichment flows.
This update supports both basic and rich product content delivery from Icecat’s global catalog, featuring over 24 million products, while maintaining full control over which products are synchronized.
The Icecat–Mirakl Connector automatically enriches Mirakl catalogs via real-time API interactions. From taxonomy mapping to content patching, the connector supports the full delivery lifecycle using Mirakl’s own standards.
To begin, clients request two key tokens from Mirakl Support:
Once tokens are configured, Icecat retrieves the taxonomy definitions (categories, attributes, values) using endpoints such as H11, PM11, and VL11. This ensures full compatibility with the live Mirakl instance, and only with attributes that the seller token can access.
Unlike fixed product feeds, the Icecat connector pushes product data based on an enrichment list controlled by the client. The list defines which products Icecat will enrich in the Mirakl environment — providing flexibility and avoiding unnecessary pushes.
This list is managed via:
Content updates are triggered automatically when:
The product has been pushed previously and has updates.
To optimize performance, the Mirakl API provides a robust set of filters. These help narrow down product selections by status, validation state, update window, or specific metadata such as SKU, catalog, or rejection reason.
Available filters include:
Clients can use these filters to define how Icecat should interact with their Mirakl catalog, ensuring only relevant, up-to-date content is processed.
An efficient implementation of the Mirakl connector requires a focused, strategic approach. Since Mirakl does not support filtering by product creation date, processing the entire catalog on each run is not sustainable. Instead, it is crucial that clients maintain an active enrichment list within their Mirakl environment. This list should clearly define which products are eligible for Icecat enrichment, ensuring that updates are both targeted and manageable.
Additionally, keeping the required access tokens up to date is essential to prevent synchronization delays. Finally, clients should carefully configure the available filters in line with their catalog structure and enrichment priorities. By using the enrichment list as the central control mechanism, even large and complex catalogs can be handled efficiently, avoiding unnecessary product pushes and optimizing performance.
This new connector strengthens Icecat’s ecosystem of integrations by offering a scalable, reliable, and fully automated way to sync high-quality product content with Mirakl marketplaces.
It supports a wide range of product types, languages, and media assets, helping brands and distributors present a more engaging, accurate, and standardized offer across multiple Mirakl-powered platforms.
