Icecat PIM Release 3.16.0: Quote Pages, Batch Editing & Smarter Exports

Icecat PIM 3.16.0 is here. This Icecat PIM release introduces dedicated Quote Pages, adds batch editing in the product list, makes filtered exports and Insights more dependable, adds Shopify handling for daily product creation limits, and ships a round of product list, User Management, and Product History refinements.

New Features

Quote Pages

• Introduced dedicated Quote Pages within the platform
• Additional UX on the quote edit experience

Icecat PIM now has a dedicated space for building and managing quotes, so sales and product teams can put together priced offers without leaving the workflow they already use for catalog data.

Import & Export

Insights & File Processing

• Added task names to the Export and Import Insights details view
• Fixed an issue where filtered exports sometimes generated empty files

Export and Import Insights now show task names in the details view, so it’s easier to identify which job you’re looking at across a busy history. We also fixed a bug where filtered exports could produce empty files. Filtered exports now reliably return the expected product data.

Connector Updates

Shopify

• Automatic pause and resume when Shopify’s daily product creation limit is reached

The Shopify connector now respects Shopify’s daily product creation limit for non Shopify-Plus customers, a safeguard that pauses product creation gracefully once the limit is reached rather than generating repeated export errors. It respects your account’s limit and resumes creation the following day. Price, stock, and content updates continue uninterrupted throughout.

General Improvements

Platform & UI

• Added batch editing of product type, status, and brand directly in the product list
• Updated information cards on the product list view
• Added additional sorting options to the product list
• Improved the layout of the Warehouses tab on the product edit page

Navigation across Icecat PIM is a little smoother this release: batch editing of product type, status, and brand from the product list, refreshed information cards on the product list, more ways to sort the product list, and a cleaner Warehouses tab on the product edit page.

User Management

• Added user count displays within the User Management interface
• Fixed an issue preventing new user creation within User Management

User Management now shows user counts at a glance, and we resolved a bug that was blocking new user creation, so teams can add members again without a workaround.

Bug Fixes

• Resolved a products relations bug in Enrichment
• Fixed unrelated bullet-point activity logs generated on first product edit
• Corrected empty-value and translation logs in Product History
• Fixed enrichment-value logging in Product History
• Resolved a language dropdown issue on the product edit page
• Fixed User Management access rights and Import Remote File handling
• Corrected content export parent-export selection and Salesforce export delete/deactivate protection
