Austrian Manufacturer Emporia Telecom Joins Icecat to Syndicate its Product Content

Emporia Telecom joins Icecat as an Open Icecat Sponsor to syndicate its product content to all its e-commerce partners. Emporia is an Austrian manufacturer of mobile telephones, smartphones, and apps specially designed for the older generation. Emporia’s products also include a wide range of accessories and landline telephones. Founded in 1991, Emporia now operates in more than 30 countries. The company is wholly owned by Eveline Pupeter who runs the business, together with her experienced management team. The manufacturer now uses the Open Icecat catalog to distribute its product content, under an open content license, to tens of thousands of channel partners worldwide.

Emporia Telecom invites all its e-commerce partners to collect its standardized content from Icecat free of charge. The digital assets retailers can download are, for example, specs, marketing texts, product images, reasons to buy, and product variants. And also, other rich media assets such as videos, brochures, and manuals. Great product content will generate a better visitor experience that leads to more sales for a retailer and Emporia Telecom alike.

If you are an Emporia Telecom reseller, use your Icecat account to download its free product content. In case you don’t have an account please register online, or contact your local Account Manager, or contact us online.
