In 2016, the most popular online categories, according to Icecat, were notebooks, PCs and warranty & support upgrades for computer hardware. Compared to 2015, the most noticeable changes in the top 10 are the increased visibility of mobile phone cases and rechargeable batteries.
The fastest growing categories, as measured by Icecat, are from a diverse range of verticals: Beauty (lip glosses, eye shadows and blushes), Lighting, Do It Yourself (electrical components, screws & bolts, and storage boxes) and toys (doll accessories and card games).
