Chinese Audio Brand Tribit Reaches out to E-commerce Channel

The Chinese audio brand Tribit, owned by Shenzhen-based manufacturer Thousandshores, uses Icecat to syndicate its product content to its e-commerce channel partners. Tribit made its debut in the market in 2017. And manufactures headphones, speakers, and earbuds, and works hard to expand in Europe.

Free Tribit product content

To minimize the threshold for resellers, Tribit product content, including marketing texts, specifications, and videos, is now available for free. They can easily download any relevant product data to provide their online visitors with excellent buyer experiences. For legal protection, Tribit has licensed Icecat to syndicate its copyrighted materials to its channel partners.

With Open Icecat, partners not only get access to Tribit product content but also to the content of their other brands. Furthermore, they can fully automate the ingestion of product specifications and other digital assets into their e-commerce platforms. Besides, Tribit takes care that the latest product information is available. The content is available in various formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, and also via add-ons to mainstream e-commerce platforms.

Benefits of syndicating product content

What are the reasons for Tribit to join Open Icecat? First of all, reach is of course very important for a young tech brand. Efficient connections to a vast number of resellers and all big marketplaces are already available in Icecat, which processed 10 billion product data-sheet downloads in 2020. And, Tribit can increase its online visibility and sales further by cross- and up-selling its products along with popular main products.

Secondly, Icecat editors can fully unburden a brand’s product managers by creating standardized product datasheets on behalf of Tribit in around 60 popular languages and locales worldwide. This saves a lot of cost and time. Furthermore, only brand-approved product content is published in free Open Icecat. Finally, a complete suite of seamless and cost-effective add-on services is available. Ranging from Shoppable Reviews, a dedicated PIM, Feed Management, Digital Rights Management, to Where-to-Buy solutions.

How to access the data?

If you are a Tribit channel partner, please use your Icecat account to download its free product content as well. In case you don’t have an account yet, please register online, contact your local Account Manager, or contact us online.
