Hasbro, a well-known multinational producer of toys and board games, is now syndicating its product content in Benelux via Icecat. This is the second European region in which Hasbro has chosen Icecat to distribute its content. Last year, Hasbro France joined Open Icecat.
Founded almost 100 years ago, Hasbro has a long history and a steady presence on the global toy market. Hasbro’s brands such as Beyblade, Monopoly, My Little Pony, NERF, Peppa Pig, Play-Doh, and Transformers cater to audiences across all age groups and generations. Furthermore, licenses such as Marvel or Star Wars attract a wide range of collectors as well.
The product content of all Hasbro’s brands is now available to the company’s channel partners in the Benelux for free in Dutch and French. All the Hasbro content is combined in so-called product data-sheets. These contain basic information and product specifications, as well as marketing texts, product images, brochures, and many other content types. Thanks to syndication via Icecat, Hasbro can easily deliver its up-to-date product content in a timely manner to all resellers in Benelux. Hasbro has licensed Icecat to add its copyrighted materials for all its trademarks to the Icecat catalog and ubiquitously syndicate this content to their channel partners.
