In our Release Notes September we explain how localized specs are now supported in our JSON interface, and how we deactive inactive price lists of users. The previous release notes can be found here.
Till recently, we didn’t show localized specifications in JSON format. Although, they are already available in XML for a long time. After a client request, we now add this functionality to JSON so that the export formats are consistent.
Added local_ID:
1. Added the additional attribute Local_ID – where we show the ID of a localized specification.
2. In attribute ID, we actually repeat the international (INT) spec ID.
3. In Presentation Value we show the localized value.
4. In the attribute Value we show the international (INT) spec value.
5. If we don’t have an international (INT) value, then we show only the localized value in Presentation Value and the international specification Value will be empty.
As known, in case a user uploads a price list from a URL, we import it on a regular basis and match the products from it. But we noticed that many of such feeds become invalid after some time. Some of them do not contain any information anymore. Some files disappear. In such cases, we notify the customer and deactivate the feed after three months. In case a user reuploads his price list, the regular matching will start again. An advantage is that we save server resources and we process valid feeds faster.
We are about to release the brand rank by country, and a brand’s average Testseek review score.
