Latest Improvements in Icecat PIM Release 2.4.1

We are glad to announce the latest updates and improvements to our product management system, which will be available to our customers by the end of March. While this release may not be the most exciting, it includes several critical bug fixes and improvements to make managing your products easier and more efficient. Here is a summary of the recent changes:

New features and improvements

  • Product field editor selection in HTML/not HTML: You can now choose between editing your product fields in HTML or plain text. This will allow you to format your product information in a way that suits your needs.
  • Category status with All Categories can now be exported: You can now export the status of your categories along with all categories in XML format. Consequently, this will allow you to keep track of the status of your categories across different platforms.
  • Display product count in Categories on the product overview page: You can now see the total number of products in each category on the product overview page.
  • Markup and margin explanation on the interface for Dutch Icecat PIM: We have added an explanation of markup and margin on the interface for Dutch Icecat PIM. This will help you to understand the pricing of your products and make informed decisions.
  • Missing meta fields for Shopify connector: We have added missing meta fields for our Shopify connector. Consequently, this integration actively syncs all your product information with your Shopify store.

Fixes

  • We fixed the Push API issue that caused problems with the “sending warehouse”. This system keeps your warehouses up-to-date by automatically syncing them with your product information.
  • Error notification for no warehouse or product state conversion in Import: We have improved the error notification for cases where there is no warehouse or product state conversion in import. Consequently, this will help you to identify and resolve issues with your Imports.
  • We have improved the error notification for monitoring imports.
  • We have fixed an issue with fixed-price import.
  • We have fixed an issue with the new product save button. This will ensure that your product information is properly saved when you make edits.
  • The status filter now works correctly. You can properly filter your products by status from the product overview page.
  • Adding product to bundle if there is no selected warehouse issue. This will ensure that your bundles are properly created.
  • Push API authorization token now refreshes correctly.
  • We’ve resolved the bug that prevented copying functionality during XML export.

We hope that these updates and improvements in this release will make managing your products easier and more efficient. For existing customers, your Icecat PIM will be updated by the end of March. Additionally, if you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are always looking for ways to improve Icecat PIM and your input is valuable to us. Keep an eye on the next release!
