InterSign Implements Ecommerce Automation

InterSign, a prominent signage product supplier founded in 2013, collaborated with Icecat Commerce to transform its digital presence and operational efficiency. InterSign is a leading distributor of customized digital signage and professional display solutions. Their extensive product portfolio includes screens, touchscreen solutions, media players, and more, sourced from top manufacturers, making them a trusted reseller partner. Their challenge was to improve data quality issues and the labor-intensive nature of manual data entry.

Data Challenges

A tailored solution was needed to fulfill InterSign’s wishes. The challenge is to resolve their data issues, keep the current assortment in the Shopify environment, enable product assortment management, and enrich the content. 

With an automated content solution from Icecat, InterSign no longer had to enter content manually. A smooth solution for smooth and effective product content creation and distribution is in place, with the current Shopify platform limitations and the extensive data from Icecat. So, a solution to automate the exports of all Icecat data to the InterSign webshop for their assortment was implemented. The implementation of Icecat PIM allowed InterSign to set up filtering, improve the browsing experience, and import numeric fields from Icecat.

Conclusion

To conclude, with this data syndication and Shopify ecommerce connector solution, InterSign reduced manual work to minimize human errors. With Icecat PIM and Icecat’s integrated data content, tasks are delegated to save time and costs.
