Icury.com Release 1.1: Price Chart Widget

As of today, a new version of Icury.com is released, based on user feedback.

Live ICURY value in “CoinGecko Price Chart”

We integrated a CoinGecko widget to provide real-time information about the Icury price to visitors. It’s mainly the prices of one exchange (txbit.io), and not yet the prices of the most active exchange (nocks.com). Over time, we will look if the Coingecko service will become more complete, and otherwise work out an alternative.

Within the homepage widget you can see the price chart for the ICY/USD trading pair. Furthermore, if you click on the widget, you will be directed to CoinGecko where you can get detailed statistics.

Our widget is optimized for mobile devices as well.

Optimized headers and reduced numbers of requests

Icury.com is now loading faster on all devices and browsers. We have optimized headers used within Icury.com and reduced number of requests.

According to the GTMetrix.com speed check, Icury.com is now loading in less than one sec – the loading time can be different for different locations and connection types – because of the reduced number of requests and a decreased digital footprint.

Security maintenance

We switched to PHP 7.3, which introduces not only performance improvements, but also new security features. We updated our whole infrastructure, server and CMS based. Furthermore, we updated all our modules to the newest versions and removed several modules which were no longer supported or needed.

Resolved periodical caching bug

We had a report of a caching bug, which was causing new content not to be rendered in time. We have identified caching settings which were causing some data not to be refreshed in time. This issue is resolved by optimization of our caching mechanism.
