Icecat in Top 50 Fastest-growing Dutch Data Science Companies

Icecat is listed in the 2019 SME Data Science Top 50, the fastest-growing Dutch Data Science companies. To be listed, companies must have their core business in data, data services, and data products offered in the business-to-business market, 5-250 employees, be established before 2017, and must be Dutch. In 2019, the combined yearly revenue growth of all listed companies is by 35%, and by 34% in the number of employees. In addition, more info about Icecat is available on NPEX, where Icecat is listed.

Ranking

The ranking is based on the average growth in revenue and employees between 2016-2019. Also the total number of employees in December 2019. The winner would have been announced today by Florijnz Corporate Finance, De Breed & Partners, MKB Datalab, and municipality’s-Hertogenbosch on an event. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this has been postponed to Q3 2020.

Outlook 2020

The usage of data science keeps growing; it has quadrupled since 2010, according to Data Science Report and Google Trends. Government, education, and health will start leaps in digitization in 2020. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and the Internet of Things (IoT) will become common words.
