Continued Growth of Traffic to Icecat Catalog, Blog, and Corporate Website in 2022

During 2022, Icecat continues its steady usage growth and closes the year with positive stats. We notice a slight decrease in new registrations. However, the Icecat catalog, Icecat’s blog, and social media networks show positive numbers, and we believe they will continue to grow in 2023.

Icecat catalog usage expanded by 19%

The page views for the Icecat catalog website have seen a Y-o-Y rise of 19%. The growth in unique page views of icecat.biz compared to last year was 16%. Furthermore, the user database recorded an increase of 24% compared to 2021. More importantly, the bounce rate went down to -45%.

Iceclog: 103% more traffic

The exponential usage growth of our blog continued in 2022, with 103% more traffic compared to 2021. The unique visitors grew by 39% Y-o-Y, meaning we attract a significant portion of unique visitors of the overall traffic to our blog. The most popular contents among the new users were manuals. In 2023 we want to focus more on quality content to keep our traffic growing.

Corporate website

For the corporate website, which was launched in November 2021, we compare Q4 with the previous quarter. The number of visits is growing steady at 10% and page views at 5%. In 2023 we will expand the number of pages, add content, and include videos to keep the traffic growing on this website as well.

Social Media footprint increases

After reaching the 6K follower milestone on LinkedIn in 2021, the Y-o-Y report for our LinkedIn company page increased by 1% to almost 7k followers. in 2023 the Icecat marketing team will do its best to continue growing the LinkedIn page with compelling, comprehensive, and creative content.
