We’re excited to share the latest developments and improvements made to the Icecat PIM platform during the September and October sprints. This report highlights key enhancements, new features, and ongoing projects designed to optimize your product information management experience.
The reason for this improvement is to allow products to be enriched with the Icecat product type. When the product type in Icecat PIM is marked as “not categorized,” the product’s product type cannot be changed by the Icecat Connect. Following this change, to keep the products in the default product type, products will receive the correct set of attributes as soon as the product is enriched in the Icecat catalog.
The new UX project is ongoing with the new additional detailed pages development.
WooCommerce: Video and PDF file export features are improved.
As we make final improvements to release version 2.4.4 of the Icecat PIM before August 15, 2024, we continue to enhance our PIM system. Please note that we develop Icecat PIM in three-week sprints. Some features are completed within a sprint, while others may extend into the next one. To ensure the highest quality, all features undergo testing before release. Therefore, completing a feature doesn’t guarantee its immediate availability. But don’t worry! We’ll keep you informed with clear release dates, detailed release logs, and explanations of new features and functionalities through our blog posts. Stay tuned for more updates in the future!
