Retailer Euronics makes Where-to-Buy available in 34 EMEA countries

Euronics, a leading retail group in electrical goods and home appliances, makes Where-to-Buy, stock availability, and local store proximity visible on a brand’s product page. This in co-operation with Hatch. Currently, Euronics has 26 national retail organizations as members and is represented in 34 countries in total. Around 5,500 entrepreneurs operate 8,800 Euronics franchise stores. Euronics now recommends Hatch as its preferred ‘Where-to-Buy’ provider. And it makes both the Buy Online and Buy Local solutions available in all the covered 34 countries across EMEA.

Euronics integrates Icecat product content

Further, Euronics successfully integrates Icecat product content. For example, the Italian member Unieuro integrated Huawei’s Product Stories on its website in addition to more common product content. This to explain to Italian consumers the Huawei Mobile Services. Also, the Turkish member Teknosa makes use of Icecat and advises its suppliers to make use of Icecat Vendor Central.

Where-to-Buy journey

Hatch, a leading global ‘Where-to-Buy’ solutions provider, works with Euronics International and its regional retail members. And aims to build a connected customer journey from Euronics’ supplier websites to the retail members’ online and in-store sales.

“We have gained a wealth of experience, welcoming shoppers into our extensive network of physical and virtual outlets across key EMEA and Eurasian (CIS) markets over the last 30 years. With a customer-centric approach that allows consumers to purchase through their preferred sales channel, our ultimate goal is to provide a connected digital experience for our customers. Collaborating with Hatch is a crucial step in making this possible,” says Hans Carpels, President Euronics International.

Joris Kroese, CEO, and Founder Hatch says: “By adding a ‘Buy now’ button to brand product pages, we offer consumers the option to purchase products from Euronics’ retail partners instantly. For both online and in-store, and straight from their brand website. By offering stock availability and local store proximity through an innovative widget, we break down the silos between sales channels. And enable a connected customer journey for our clients while helping them to strengthen brand-retailer relationships. In 2020, we will send approximately sixty million leads from brands to retailers, such as Euronics.”
