Team building 2022: Successful Outing at the Beach

Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd of September, we had a Team building 2022 at the beach. It was already 12 months ago since the last team activity, although we organized other activities and masterclasses, most of them all online. Great to meet each other physically at Hotel Zuiderduin in Noord-Holland, the Netherlands. We specifically chose an environment at the beach to clear our heads and have good conditions for our brainstorming sessions.

After a Pimcore and Magento demo, we spoke about the business and divided the team into smaller groups. To keep all our 45 colleagues from France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Belgium, Hungary, the Netherlands, and Ukraine in one place, we concentrated the entertainment activities at the beach and focussed on team building. Starting Expiditie Robinson and a walking dinner at a beach club, the Thursday came to an end quickly. On Friday, after breakfast, we started with a lecturer at the beach and then traveled to Alkmaar for the entertainment part, which was relaxing on a boat and catching up with each other.

To conclude, everyone had fun, and we all enjoyed seeing each other again.

What’s next?

In the future, we will have more outings organized. Starting with Halloween on Friday the 28th of October. The scariest Friday drinks at 18:00 (6 pm) in the Icecat Amsterdam office. The dress code is bloody, so be creative with your costume. Furthermore, around Christmas, we will have a get-together as well. Finally, to start the new year 2022 in the right direction, we will have a kick-off meeting. Details of these events will be determined later.
