Reviews Module in Enhanced Product Stories are now Available

Icecat added a reviews module by default to Enhanced Product Stories 1.0 and 2.0. A Product Story is a below-the-fold content page with a custom layout including multimedia and messaging assets that gives the best product experience to an online shopper. Using reviews in Product Stories is one of the best ways to increase the trust of online shoppers, which helps to raise conversion rates on product pages.

Benefits of Reviews in Enhanced Product Stories 2.0

Using Product Stories 2.0 brings many benefits as a unique lightweight framework is available, including all the necessary plugins. The compact design of the reviews module allows it to seamlessly coexist with the channel partner’s in-house review solution on the product pages. Furthermore, a Product Story 2.0 supports font and styles customization. Additionally, it is possible to switch the reviews module off. Finally, the loading speed of Product Stories 2.0 is improved, a responsive design for all devices is supported, and the Product Story is now hosted by Icecat.

How to implement Product Stories?

If you already use Enhanced Product Stories the reviews are immediately visible. If you do not use Enhanced Product Stories yet, then the implementation is pretty straightforward. Product Stories are ready to go live on any device with a few lines of JavaScript in the HTML code. The manual with detailed instructions explains how to embed Product Stories via the Icecat Live Granular Call.

Please, find some examples of Enhanced Product Stories including reviews on Fun.be, and Top1toys.

How to access reviews?

Once registered at Icecat, resellers can access product content, including specifications, marketing text, bullet points, images, videos, and Product Stories. Some Product Stories now include a reviews module.

Please use your Icecat account to download the free product content. In case you don’t have an account yet, please register online, contact your local Account Manager, or contact us online.
