Mindpal: How to integrate your own AI Agent with the icecat MCP

In Mindpal you can create your own AI agents. Open Icecat’s product content can be easily used in this AI agent, or any other you can dream of. As an example we made our own product recommendation agent with Mindpal and the MCP (model context protocol) server of Icecat.

Disclaimer: this post is not a recommendation of Mindpal. Further, do NOT use your Full Icecat account with Mindpal, unless it’s established that the AI handles proprietary data correctly.

At the menu item “Integrations” you can add “+add new remote MCP server”.

Here you can create the icecat MCP server details.

The one tricky thing is to get your API key. You can do this for FREE at our website: https://icecat.biz -> create an account -> my profile -> manage access token -> copy or add your API Access Token

NOTE: only use your free Open Icecat account given its permissive open content license. Don’t use a Full Icecat account, as we can’t be certain at this point of time that the AI respects proprietary data.

Going back to AgenticFlow.AI.

Use the Server URL: https://mcp.icecat.biz.
Click on “+ add header”.
Put the value “Api-Token” in the first field and your API key in the Value field.
Then, you are good to go.
We love to hear your feedback on what additional features you would like.

We are looking forward to you feedback on our MCP server below!
