On Wednesday, 31st of May, NPEX, the Dutch stock exchange for SMEs, hosted the first edition of the NPEX Award ceremony to honor the most traded investment fund, stock, and bond listed on NPEX. The event, which took place in the WTC The Hague, brought together entrepreneurs, investors, and financial professionals. The NPEX awards are based on several criteria, including trading volume, liquidity, and overall market performance.
In the category “most traded stock” Icecat received the prestigious award, solidifying its position as a top-performing stock. Mark van der Plas, CEO at NPEX BV, handed over the 2022 NPEX award to Martijn Hoogeveen, CEO at Icecat. Icecat’s solid financial performance and consistent revenue growth have attracted investors to the NPEX trading platform.
We are thankful to be honored with this NPEX Award for the most traded stock. We consider liquidity of our stock a key performance indicator. It gives retail investors the confidence to invest, as they know they can exit later on, and can make money on the difference.

Other winners were Annexum as the most traded investment fund, and WAAR as the most traded bond. Finally, Pat-Krüger won the award in the category of best-communicating fund. Furthermore, a fifth award for the fastest grower on the NPEX stock exchange is presented later this year when all 2022 annual reports are published for review.
The NPEX awards ceremony was a celebration of the potential for success of SMEs in the securities market.
