Gigabyte adds Where To Buy to its UK website
Gigabyte, the Taiwanese PC components and notebook brand, adds Where-To-Buy (WTB) to its UK website, in cooperation with Hatch and Icecat. By WTB the visitors of a Gigabyte product page are guided to selected etailers when choosing the products they’re looking for. WTB is expected to have a serious business impact as Gigabyte’s website is high traffic with about 7.8 million visitors in the last six months, ranking #15 in the Computer and Electronics category.

Product pages show the availability of the product in the webshops of selected etailers to help visitors making a quick buying decision, which will lead to a higher conversion rate. The WTB system of Hatch also traces the click-through and sales out, so that Gigabyte can use such information to optimize its marketing campaigns and rationalize its advertising investments.
When Gigabyte rolls out WTB globally, the impact will be significant, given the volume and size of this hardware manufacturer. Gigabyte shipped more than 10 millions motherboards last year, ranking 2nd in this category. Further, Gigabyte also produces VGA graphic cards, notebooks and servers. Its revenues totalled 1.7 Billions USD (~1.5 Billion EUR) in 2015.
